Cookie Policy
What are cookies?
Cookies are small text strings that websites visited by the user send to their terminal (usually a browser) on mobile or desktop devices, where they are stored and then retransmitted to the same websites on the user's next visit, as specified in point 1 of the preamble to regulation no. 229/2014. For this reason, cookies cannot be considered viruses or malicious programs.
The function of cookies
Through these small text strings, it is possible to compare new and past site visitors and thus understand user preferences.
Cookies and visitors
With this notice, in compliance with provision no. 229/2014, the user is informed that by using the site they allow cookies as specified below, and that these are installed on their device, thereby granting access.
Cookies and external services
The website does not integrate Google Analytics or analytics or marketing tools managed by the practice. The location page loads OpenStreetMap maps; the Google Maps and Apple Maps buttons link to external services.
Website preferences are saved in your device’s localStorage. Loading maps and opening external services connects to their respective providers, under the policies listed below.
Interactive maps — OpenStreetMap
The location page embeds OpenStreetMap maps, which load directly to show the practice locations. Loading a map connects your browser to OpenStreetMap Foundation services and communicates technical data, including your IP address and request and browser information needed to provide the map.
OpenStreetMap Foundation Privacy Policy
Google Maps
The “Open in Google Maps” and “Open in Apple Maps” buttons open external services only when selected. Google Maps is not embedded in the page. When you open Google Maps, data processing and any use of cookies follow Google’s policies and settings.
Google may use cookies and similar technologies for functionality, security, preferences and other purposes described in its policies. Their use and duration depend on the service and your browser and Google Account settings. You can manage these settings and cookies through your browser and Google’s privacy controls.
